Fu plays an important role in the I Ching.
Turning back is prosperous and smooth, the firm returns
thus, going out and coming in, there is no harm.
Friends arrive; there is no fault.

Falling away and turning back, in accordance with the Tao of waxing and waning.
in seven days comes the return.
it is the Tao of Heaven

Favorable to have somewhere to go
the firm is growing and extending. from this gua, Fu, One can see the heart of Heaven and Earth.

The Ancient king closed the gates of the passes on the winter solstice. Traveling merchants did not travel, nor did the king make inspection of his states.

암울하고 어두운 상황에서 상서로운 새로운 기운이 들어올 때에는 그 기운을 잘 보전하고 굳게 지켜라.
인간의 수행도 마찬가지이다. 수련을 통해 복부의 맨 아래에서 양의 기운이 태동하면 일체 삿된 기운을 막기 위하여 방사도 금하면서 양의 기운을 보호해야한다.
복이 형통한 것은 강한 양이 돌아오는데 내괘 진으로 움직이되 외괘 곤으로 순하게 움직이기 때문이다.

Returning is going, Returning means to return to the proper way, to return to yourself, to return to this world, to return to nature.
