76-days #42 "Increasing"

When wind and thunder support each other, their energy is doubled. it is also an image of increase. the inner gua, thunder indicates that there is firm resolution within. the outer gua, wind , indicates that there is penetrating outward action.
this tells superior person follows the good as quickly as the wind and corrects his/her faults as firmly as thunder.

Increasing to decrease what is above is to increase what is lower. the joy of the people is boundless. Increase of what is lower comes from what is above its way is greatly brightened.
Favorable to have somewhere to go because it is central and correct and,therefore, is blessed. favorable to cross great rivers because the wood is floating on the water and sent forward by the wind.
Increase moves with gentleness and mildness. it proceeds daily without limit. Heaven bestows and earth accepts. thereby things increase without restriction. the tao of increasing always proceeds in harmony with the time.

superior person follows the good when he/she sees it, and corrects his/her fault when he finds it.

the message of the gua is that those above provide benefit to those below. upper gua represent the persons who give, and the lower gua represent those who receive. the way to gain relies on doing something substantial. "Favorable to have somewhere to go. Favorable to cross great rivers."

To increase means to increase wisdom. wisdom is not an empty idea. it is based on decreasing desire, having humility, sincerity, a kind heart and a constant mind.

복지정책이 잘 이루어져 사회가 안정되룻록 잘못된 제도나 정책을 올바르게 바꾸려는 노력이 지속되어야하고, 인간도 평온한 삶을 계속 유지하기 위해서는 잘못을 고치고 선한 방향으로 실천해 나가야한다.
익이라함은 도움이 있다는 뜻이다. 진은 동방의 봄이요, 손은 동남방의 봄이니, 내괘진뢰로 파종하여 외괘 손으로 봄바람이 일면서 만물이 생화하여 풍성하게 되는 상이다. 가는 바가 이롭고 큰일을 해야한다.
